I want to start with a massive congratulations to Mr and Mrs Ramsay!
These two are perfect for each other and everyone knows it, which makes my job easy so thanks for that haha
We started the morning at Curtis and Rionne’s new home after Rionne got back from having her make up done, in rollers and a head scarf, looking sassy! The bridal party were having drinks and getting their hair did and laughs were all round right from the start. As I was taking some detail shots of Rionne’s jewellery she told me a lot of it was from their travels together which was a really nice touch.
Eve Ludlow, my second shooter, met Curtis and the boys at the pub across the road from the Church. Thanks for all your help on the day Eve!
We realised getting to the church on time was going to be a bit challenging, and not because the bridal party weren’t ready, but because the wedding car driver had got the time wrong! Sara, the maid of honour, had ‘words’ with the driver on the phone so Rionne didn’t have to when she got in the car, because that’s what maid of honour’s are for obviously. Everyone else jumped in my car to cut the journeys in half so we could see Rionne&Curtis say ‘I do’ and it was amazing. We even saw a fist pump from Curtis as they shared their first kiss, priceless!
The reception was held at The White Heart in Lydgate, a hillside venue with stunning views across Manchester, Cheshire and beyond. The weather couldn’t make its mind up but we managed to sneak out for photos between the rain stopping and starting.
Now the speeches were something else and I don’t think I have ever laughed so much at a wedding, ever! The first dance wasn’t the traditional slow dance between the both of them but instead they got everybody up for a boogie.
I absolutely loved capturing your day Rionne and Curtis and I wish you ALL THE LOVE for the future.
